Welding jobs

Arc, MIG, TIG and pipe welders for fabrication, construction, oil & gas and shipyards.

A welding worker joins metal parts using heat and filler material, working from drawings and welding procedure specifications (WPS) so that every joint meets the strength and quality the job demands. The work covers preparing and cleaning the joint, setting up the machine, welding in the required position and checking the result — often to a 3G or 6G qualification for pipes and structures. This trade is hired worldwide — across India, the Gulf (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain), Europe, North America, Southeast Asia, Africa and Australia — and GoodProfile is open to candidates and employers in every country.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a certificate to get a welding worker job?

An ITI certificate helps, but most employers care about your welding test. Being able to pass a 3G or 6G test on the day is what gets skilled welders hired, in India and in the Gulf.

Which welding process pays best?

TIG and 6G pipe welding usually command the highest rates because they need the most skill and are used on pressure piping in oil & gas. Multi-process welders are the easiest to place.
